CABINET FIELD TECHNICIAN
The Role:
This position will work as a member of Archetype Kitchen's Field and Service Team to ensure proper installation and service of all cabinetry products installed in our clients' homes.
This role is responsible for performing:
site measures
field inspections
service appointments
Warehouse Offloading as Required
Permanent Position, Flexible Hours
Salary: $30-$36 / hr
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong problem-solving and customer experience skills.
What You’ll Do:
Work directly with designers to confirm site conditions and measurements prior to order placement.
Perform repairs on existing installed cabinets and millwork at the project site.
Complete small project cabinet installations.
Complete Site Audit Reports; noting any manufacturing or installation defects and auditing of site materials and existing conditions.
Work closely with our team to ensure consistently high quality.
Complete cabinetry finals appointments.
Assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing quality issues, contain parts or products as needed, sort parts for quality requirements.
Support operations in daily responsibilities for shipping and receiving.
Perform service appointments at completed projects.
Create daily work plans with operations team to achieve goals on schedule.
First point of contact for quality issues in designated projects.
What You will Bring:
2 or more years of experience working in a service/installation capacity on cabinetry and millwork projects and/or have equivalent training or relevant education.
Energetic, reliable, and dependable with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
Experience with cabinet and millwork installation and repairs.
Proficiency at reading and interpreting cabinetry drawings.
Ability to effectively communicate common issues and defects to leadership and management assisting with solutions.
Ability to manage and give direction in critical situations while keeping composure.
Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
Solid cabinetry and millwork knowledge (has a thorough understanding of cabinet requirements).
Strong customer service skills.
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand on feet for extended periods of time.
Your own hand tools and basic power tools.
Experience:
Cabinet Making/Installation: 2 years (preferred)
Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
Class 5 License and your own vehicle that you can use for work.

CABINET INSTALLERS
We're looking for a certified pro on the tools to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, a love of custom cabinetry, and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. Min 5 years cabinetmaking or equivalent field experience. Sub Contractors preferred but not required.
Knowledge and skills required:
Cabinetmaking or 5 years equivalent field experience
Must have your own wheels / valid drivers liscence
Solid Understanding of frameless cabinetry installation methods, equipment, materials, tools and practices of the cabinet making trade
Ability to perform math; read technical information, analyze situations to define issues and draw conclusionss
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and stand on feet for extended periods of time
Steel toe boots and glasses / goggles are required
Physical/Environmental requirements: driving, walking, standing, lifting, bending, kneeling
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Some problem solving and negotiation skills
Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines
Perform consistently under pressure and handle challenges professionally
Diplomatic attitude when working with clients
Must be able to work independently
